FREE CATARACT OPERATION CAMP
A free cataract operation camp was organised by Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital and Research Centre, run by Bihar Eye Bank Trust. The camp was held in the British School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 80 patients were examined. Advice and prescriptions were given for eye problems. 11 patients were found to be suffering from cataract. 8 patients were brought to Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital and Research Centre, Ranchi. They were given free medicines, dark glasses, food and lodging along with operation.

Operated patients were given advice for proper careafter the operation. Follow up will be done after one week and then after one month.

At the camp, Dr. Vinita Sinha attended to the patients assisted by Sister Josepha Dungdung, Babita Kumari and Ravi Shankar Kumar.
