Flag Hoisting in Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital, and Research Centre, Bariatu Road, Ranchi
On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Dr. T. P. Barnwal unfurled the National Flag in the Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital, and Research Centre, run by Bihar Eye Bank Trust, Bariatu Road, Ranchi, at 11.15 a.m.

He was welcomed by Sri S. S. Dubey, Treasurer; Sri Siddhartha Ghosh, Trustee; and Dr. P. Sinha, Secretary. After flag hoisting, a number of children from Hi-Q International Academy sang patriotic songs and the national anthem. Dr. T. P. Barnwal, other doctors, and trustees distributed gifts to them and to other children present at the programme.

The Secretary thanked the students of Hi Q International Academy and the teachers with them for coming to sing the national anthem and the songs. Dr. Barnwal advised the students to take care of their health and to serve their country.

Jharkhand Eye Bank Hospital and Research Centre is run by Bihar Eye Bank Trust, a registered charitable trust (No. 17174 of 1974 under the Indian Trust Act), founded by Late N. Bakshi I.C.S. The Trust is headed by H.E. the Governor of Jharkhand and includes other state dignitaries.
The Bihar Eye Bank Trust is a permanent member of Eye Bank Association of India and is registered under the District Blindness Control Society, Ranchi.
The Hospital is housed in a three-storied building standing on 0.7 acres of land in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. It is easily reached road, rail and air.
